Send a spec sheet (or whatever you have). Get back a Revit family.
For anyone an architect has asked for a family and who does not have Revit. Upload the cut sheet or type the dimensions, confirm what we read, and download the file.
Four steps, one file
1
Upload what you have
A spec sheet, a drawing, photos, a product link, or dimensions typed in. Any mix.
2
Confirm what we read
Manufacturer, model, size, weight and mounting, pulled from the sheet. Fix anything we got wrong.
3
Choose a level of detail
Basic, standard or detailed, priced in credits. We only offer the levels that fit the item.
4
Download the family
An .rfa file that opens in Revit 2024 and later, with renders so you can check it first.
What it can take on
Six real requests, from a ball to a ceiling system. The level we offer depends on what the item is and what you can give us, not on how much you want to spend.
| Product | What you gave us | Levels offered | What the family carries | Credits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Linear LED ceiling system4 ft, 8 ft and 12 ft runs, direct and indirect | Cut sheet with the length table, mounting detail drawing, two photos | Standard, DetailedBasic would lose the lengths | Ceiling based. Three types by length, an electrical connector, mounting height from the sheet | 2 or 3 |
| Bottle filling station with drinking fountainwall hung, with rough-in drawing | Spec sheet with rough-in drawing, product page link | Standard, Detailed | Wall based at the rough-in height. Cold water and drain connectors from the rough-in, accessible-height clearances | 2 or 3 |
| Task chair in three sizessizes A, B and C on one sheet | Dimensions page for all three sizes, three photos | DetailedThree sizes need types | One family, three types with their own seat height and width | 3 |
| Reach-in refrigerator, two doors54 in wide, 115 V | Spec sheet with the electrical table, one photo | Basic, Standard, Detailed | Food service equipment. Door swing clearance, an electrical connector at the sheet's voltage and amps, left or right hinge as types | 1 to 3 |
| Kitchen base cabinet run40, 60 and 80 cm widths | Product pages for each width, no photos | Standard, Detailed | Casework. Width as a type per size, plinth and worktop heights from the pages, door and drawer fronts as visible features | 2 or 3 |
| Exercise ball65 cm | One photo and a diameter | BasicThere is nothing more to model | A sphere of the right size with a name and a category, so it schedules | 1 |
Connectors and types are only built from what the sheet says. If the electrical table or the rough-in is missing, we ask for it before the build rather than guess.
What it costs, and how long it takes
Add a card at sign-up and you get 3 credits, up to 3 free families, good for 30 days, with nothing charged. A family costs 1 to 3 credits depending on the level of detail. A credit is $10, less in a pack of 25 or on a monthly plan. See the prices.
We look at what you send before you choose, and we only offer the levels that fit. A simple item is offered at Basic, we tell you why, and we never recommend more than the architect can use. If you want more later, the upgrade costs the difference.
| Basic | Correct size, name and category | about 3 minutes | 1 credit |
| Standard | Visible features from the sheet and photos | about 6 minutes | 2 credits |
| Detailed | Sizes and options as types, connectors from the sheet | about 10 minutes | 3 credits |
Yours, outright
Every family you make here is yours. Whatever rights we could claim in it, we assign to you, as far as the law allows. Hand it to the architect, put it on your website, give it to your customers. We keep only the licence we need to store, process and show it to you for the service. No attribution, no expiry. Read the ownership terms.
| The family file and renders | Yours. Our rights in them are assigned to you on delivery. |
| What you upload | Stays yours. We keep it only long enough to build your family and the changes you ask for, then delete it. |
| Sharing | Never. No other customer sees your families, and we do not sell or pool them. |
| Training | Never. Your files and families are not used to train any model, ours or anyone else's. |
